Join us for a 90 minutes PGM Community public event on Participatory Grantmaking during Polycrisis.

We will be exploring ways of navigating PGM in times of crises in collaboration with participatory grantmakers from Dalan Fund, Purposeful and Rawa.

As the world navigates polycrisis resulting from climate change, authoritarian regimes, and a disregard for human rights, the philanthropic sector is called to respond. In this session, we hope to deepen understanding of how PGM adapts to respond effectively in crisis contexts, identify potential challenges and solutions for PGM in crisis situations and explore complementary approaches that can strengthen crisis response alongside PGM. We will attempt to collectively address the question: How do we continue to deepen PGM practice amidst polycrisis in a way that protects and uplifts communities?‍
