Our hope is that these programs will cultivate a network of philanthropy professionals who will be intentional about supporting each other and participatory grantmaking as it continues to gain momentum over the next decade and beyond.
Start Well is focused on supporting community members who are just getting started with a participatory practice.
We plan to offer series of smaller cohorts, with virtual small group workshops, access to coaching with leaders in the space, and peer connection focused on practical aspects of PGM as well as the inner work that inevitably comes up when working with shifting power dynamics.
Applications will be taken on a rolling basis until July 31, 2024. We anticipate having 8-10 spaces available.
We plan to ask for contributions to support us incovering the costs of running the program. This is a pilot program with a fee between £250-£500 for individuals and between £500-£1000 for organizations on a sliding scale.
The cohort will run between Q4 2024- Q1 2025

These are pilot cohorts and there may be changes in the future cohorts. For now StartWell will be at a sliding scale between £500- £1500 for organizations and £250-500 for individuals.
The PGM Community consultants team will be working with the Accountability Circle to determine the participants of the cohorts depending on the number of applications, available slots, and to ensure equitable representation within the cohorts.
The StartWell will have 4 virtual sessions spread across a period between Q4 2024 and Q1 2025
