As a passionate advocate and long term practitioner of participatory grantmaking, Katy Love is thrilled to be a faculty member for this course! She works with funders to shift power to communities in their governance, strategy and design, grantmaking, and evaluation and learning. She serves as a program manager at Fund for Shared Insight, where she co-authored the Participatory Philanthropy Toolkit. Katy speaks and writes frequently about shifting power in philanthropy, has led, designed, and participated in more than 50 rounds of participatory grantmaking, and co-developed the Advancing Participation in Philanthropy Tool. She was involved in the Participatory Grantmaking Collective and helped develop the Grantcraft Guide "Deciding Together."
