Chris Allan

Chris Allan is the Executive Director of Ajabu Advisors and a senior climate, resilience, and systems change specialist. He has over 30 years of experience with designing, planning, implementing, and evaluating programs around the globe. He has designed multiple grantmaking programs, including developing strategy, creating management systems, recruiting and managing staff, and monitoring and evaluating the work, including with many Indigenous Peoples and alliances. He has served as team leader and senior advisor on many complex, multi-country initiatives spanning climate change, resilience, organizational development, and grantmaking, working with foundations, civil society organizations, governments, and multilateral partners. His work combines strong expertise in participatory evaluation, organizational strengthening, and inclusive adult learning with deep experience supporting networks and social movements.
