Theophilus Michael Odaudu is a human rights lawyer specializing in disability rights, inclusive governance, and democratic accountability. He serves as Programme Officer for Africa at the Disability Rights Fund (DRF), where he supports and strengthens organizations of persons with disabilities across the continent to advance disability rights, legal reform, and inclusive public policy.
With over a decade of experience working with the disability community in Nigeria, Theophilus has previously worked with the National Human Rights Commission and the Kogi State Ministry of Justice. His work focuses on strengthening accountability mechanisms, advancing disability-inclusive legislation, and promoting effective participation of persons with disabilities in governance processes. He holds an LL.M in Human Rights and Democratisation in Africa from the University of Pretoria and an LL.M from the University of Ibadan. He is a 2016 Mandela Washington Fellow and a 2022 D-30 Disability Impact Awardee.
