
Afro-Indigenous Brazilian activist and consultant, Brazil
Verônica Veloso is an Afro-Indigenous Brazilian activist and consultant working at the intersection of participatory philanthropy, feminist and antiracist strategies, and social justice operations. She is the founder and director of Jibóia, a consultancy that accompanies philanthropic institutions and social justice organizations through participatory and decolonial strategies and practices. She holds a degree in International Relations, with specializations in gender and Afro-Latin American studies, and has previously worked with organizations such as FRIDA | The Young Feminist Fund, Women Win, the United Nations, and UN Women. She currently collaborates with partners in Brazil and globally to strengthen community-led and more just philanthropic practices.
